JACOB JENSEN SMOKE DETECTOR
The RRP 400 kr. incl. VAT
Jacob Jensen's optical smoke detector is created to create security, so it also adds a touch of elegance to your home in the form of the innovative design. A constant pulsing beam of light detects smoke. If the light beam is refracted by smoke particles, the alarm will sound. Integrated battery with a lifespan of 10 years. This smoke detector is an independent device and cannot be daisy-chained.
The design language of Jacob Jensen's smoke detectors is soft yet characterful. The five different colors give you the choice to harmonize or accentuate your living style with confidence.
Installing a smoke detector: The smoke detector should be placed on the ceiling, as high up as possible and at least half a metre away from walls, doors and windows. This prevents the smoke from leaking out without you noticing. The smoke detector must not be placed too close to the bathroom, kitchen or wood-burning stove, as steam, cooking gas and wood smoke can cause false alarms.
In the basement, the smoke detector should be installed in the stairwell.
The smoke detector can be mounted on the wall if installation on the ceiling is not possible, e.g. due to textile ceilings or ceilings with insufficient stability. When wall mounting, there must be a distance of 30-50 cm to the ceiling.
Operation and maintenance: We recommend that you test your smoke detector at regular intervals to make sure it works. Test at least once a year and preferably more often. Also test when you come home from a long-term holiday.
Never paint over your smoke alarm and replace it every ten years. It is handed in at the recycling centre as battery waste.
